The garden is nice, the beach is very close, and there are some very nice restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly, and the breakfast is simple but good value for money. Rooms are basic but all right, though they could do with an upgrade. The pool was often dirty and not well maintained, and road traffic made it quite noisy at night. There are very poisonous box jellyfish recorded in the sea around Langkawi. The hotel does nothing to warn guests about them.

The staff were helpful, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Our room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels and water. The beach was only a short walk away. We had a wonderful stay, everything was great 👍

The room was decent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There’s a lovely, quiet beach within walking distance, and the location is excellent. Pantai Cenang is about 15 away. Grab is cheap if you’d rather not walk.

The beach is easy to reach along a path behind the resort, and it’s a lovely stretch of Long Beach with nice sand. The sunsets are beautiful too. The hotel is good value, clean, and close to restaurants. Rooms, grounds, and bathrooms are all well maintained, and the pool is clean with a large shallow section for children. I skipped breakfast and went to Halfway Hut nearby instead, which was excellent.

The calm Bali-like atmosphere was lovely, and it was quiet at night. My family and I enjoyed everything and would stay here again if we return to Langkawi. The family room had two queen beds, plenty of space, and a huge, clean bathroom. The beach is just a 50 meter walk away. The Hidden, with its restaurant, bar, and fire show, is within walking distance; there are other eateries nearby too, and Alun Alun Spa is next door. Tokopi cafe is a few steps away for coffee and a variety of tasty meals. The staff at Tropical were very friendly and helpful, and even asked each morning how we liked breakfast 😊 A Grab to Cenang costs only MYR5, and it’s not far.
