Family and friends of mine have stayed here before, and everyone enjoyed it. Recently, the local mosque decided, for reasons only they know, to broadcast prayers over the loudspeakers as well as the call to prayers. I love the call to prayers, but found the prayers themselves tedious, intrusive, and deafening. Be warned, and check before booking whether this is going to continue.

The refund request became a hassle after we kept getting stained sheets. The first set had dark blood marks and other brown stains, and the replacements were dirty too. Reception seemed unconcerned when we asked for fresh ones. They said they would buy clean sheets because none were available, but that never happened. The sheets we got after that still had visible marks. The hygiene was awful. I wouldn’t stay here.

We were happy with the accommodation even though the resort isn’t on the beach. The room was clean and comfortable, and it felt just right for a couple. Check-in was easy too. Love it, and I’d recommend staying here in Langkawi!

The pool looking out over all the greenery was a real highlight, and the quiet setting made it easy to relax. Villa Abadi feels tucked away from the bustle but is still near key attractions. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and we had lovely landscape views from our private balcony. It was designed with a nice mix of modern amenities and local character. The staff were warm from check-in onward and always ready to help, whether with a request, an activity, or a suggestion for somewhere to visit. Villa Abadi Resort gave us a comfortable, luxurious break, and I’d happily recommend it. I hope to return.
