The staff made this place feel like a little peaceful haven, and they even gave us a couple of small Langkawi souvenirs. They’re just too sweet. We stayed 8 nights, extended a few times, and were sad to leave for our next stop in Penang. We chose well, and didn’t hear any construction noise while we were there. It was very quiet, though they’re still working on a restaurant for the top floor. There’s a cute little cat at the hotel too. Room 304, the Deluxe pool view room, was our favourite: it looks over the pool and hills and was quiet. The room was clean, the bed very comfy, and level 3 rooms have only been open since the beginning of the year. There’s a good sized balcony with nice chairs and a little table, plus a fridge, kettle, toiletries, pool towels, really good WiFi and great AC. The TV has 4 channels, though a smart TV would be better. Tours can be booked and laundry is available. The pool is a great size with lots of loungers, and there are decent restaurants and beaches close by. The price is decent for this standard of room. Reception and cleaning staff were all super friendly, and everywhere was clean, including reception and the pool area. A few things could be better: the toilet bowls in the rooms need attention for discolouration, some lounger fabric is very worn and waterproof covers would look and work better, and daily leaf blowing can get annoying. Hand soap in the bathroom would help too.
