We spent three nights here over New Year’s Eve and came away feeling rested and refreshed. Ken, the host, was great about helping with whatever we needed, from food to rides and everything in between. A lovely choice if you want a relaxing stay.

The hosts were genuinely kind and made sure we were comfortable. The setting is beautiful and quiet, just right for switching off and taking in the scenery. Some parts of the property feel worn and could use more care than the online photos suggest. It’s about a 25-minute drive to the nearest town, so I’d pick this for a peaceful night or two rather than a longer stay.

Breakfasts from Jenifer were a real morning treat, and the staff were professional and caring toward us. We felt at home in the villa, with an authentic feel and thoughtful touches that made it easy to relax. Hutan Datai villa in Langkawi sits amid wonderful nature, with captivating views right outside our window. Waking up to those sounds and scenery was a pleasure. The atmosphere felt warm and almost magical, and the whole stay left us with impressions that are hard to put into words.
