The complimentary ride into town made getting around easy, and the hotel also helped us arrange a car to explore Langkawi. We made good use of the clean pool and gym, too. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, and the staff were always ready to help. Communication was smooth throughout, which made the stay feel easy and comfortable. We had a great time and would happily return.

The location was handy for airport transit, with the hotel just a short walk away, and the view was lovely. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable, and everything felt very clean. One of the two rooms we booked had a problem, but management quickly arranged a replacement. The staff were kind and helpful, and the issue was handled professionally. We'd gladly stay again.

The front desk staff were lovely and helped me sort out an issue with my Tripadvisor tour. They also let us check out later without an extra charge. Getting around was simple with Grab or taxis across the street, though aside from the airport, nothing is really within walking distance. I wouldn't be sure about staying downtown, since the noise might bother me. The airport is right across the street, so even with heavy bags it's an easy walk. The lobby and public areas are attractive, and the pool is nice. Air-conditioning worked well. The breakfast buffet seemed a bit pricey, and the pillows and bed could be better, though they were okay. The bathroom could use an update. For TV, you need your own subscription.

I was concerned the airport would be noisy, but the double-glazed windows kept the planes from being much of a bother. The refurbished rooms were clean, roomy, and decorated in a modern style, while the grand lobby made a strong impression. The outdoor Long Beach Pool & Bar had a nice feel for relaxing, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The location is especially convenient: Langkawi International Airport is about a 3-minute walk away, or a 1-minute shuttle ride, and Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC) is next door. It takes the hassle out of arriving late or leaving early.
