The hosts were friendly and helpful, and seemed to understand what tourists need. My room had a hairdryer, bottle opener, and a can of knock down spray, while mosquito coils and lighters were left on the porch. The place is small, clean, and comfortable, close to the beach and restaurants, but still really quiet.

The motel is just off the main road, so it’s quiet and surrounded by greenery, and the price was decent. Our accommodation was clean and spacious, with a very, very comfortable bed and our own outdoor sitting area. Taxfree shop and restaurants are a five-minute walk away, and the beach is a little further. Cenang beach and town are also walkable, about 15 minutes, maybe. James was a friendly host, helped us rent a scooter at a good price, and gave us useful information. He and his wife even took us out for dinner. We had a great time, and I’d recommend staying here if you visit this beautiful island.

A relaxed place with a nice atmosphere and friendly neighbors. The beach is about a 10-15 minute walk away. Recommended.

Good value and a handy location, about five minutes from the beach. The owner is service minded and the service was good. The bathroom is very basic.
