The woman working there was so kind, and my partner and I had a great stay. We especially liked the location because it’s peaceful. The surroundings look a little shabby, but they aren’t dirty. I’d definitely recommend it!

The staff were very friendly and helpful when we asked for a refund, so no complaints there. We’d booked two weeks but checked out the next day. The place has potential, but it seems the owners just want to collect the money without improving it. There was stale green water in the pool and fountain area, and the outdoor space was neglected. The room was worse than the photos: mold was everywhere, including in the AC. Once we switched it on, spores blew around the room. It looked like they’d painted over the mold instead of fixing it. The next morning, burning trash and leaves smelled so strong they seeped into our room. I’ve stayed in shabby places before, but this was on another level. Maybe it’s okay for travellers or backpackers staying a day or two, but I wouldn’t recommend it to families with kids or older people because of the health issues. If you don’t care about your health, go ahead and stay; otherwise, stay far away.

There are a few small visitors in the room: the tiny lizards won’t bother you, but the mosquitoes will. Don’t count on soap or toilet paper being supplied. Still, for the price and location, it’s a great deal, with friendly staff and a good restaurant next door. The beach is a three-minute walk, and the town’s shops and aquarium are about 15 minutes away on foot.
