I wouldn't recommend adding breakfast unless it's already included in the room price. The selection was limited but acceptable, while refilling empty trays took what felt like hours. It was the worst buffet breakfast I've had so far. The rooms were just nice. Both had leaks, but thankfully maintenance fixed them promptly. In one room, the air-conditioning took quite a while to cool.

I went to Lawas in Sarawak, Malaysia, for the first time a week ago with my friend. He/She was there for business while I was on vacation. We stayed in a simple but comfortable homestay.

We only had one night here, which was a shame. The river view was lovely at different times of day, and the location was perfect. Our room was spacious and clean, with a hot, powerful shower. We enjoyed the included breakfast buffet, too. The hotel is old, but clean, with friendly staff and good value for money. There's also a big pool that looked inviting, though we didn't have time to swim.

It's a four-floor hotel with a hall and a small convenience store open 24 hours. Free breakfast is included, and the price is quite reasonable. It's the biggest hotel in Lawas and has a swimming pool.

The view was great, and the pillows, mattress and food were good. They served plenty of food. The air-conditioning was leaking and needs servicing, but otherwise it was okay.
