There was a bad odor in the room, which made the stay uncomfortable, and the cleanliness was poor throughout. The table and bed were dusty, and the air conditioner was so full of dust that we had to clean it ourselves. I suspect there may have been bed bugs because I felt itchy all over and couldn’t sleep comfortably. That’s a serious hygiene concern, and I hope management takes cleaning and pest control seriously. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The lack of internet left us unable to stay connected, and there was nowhere to eat, despite being near the marina. Staff were rude, unhelpful, and seemed not to care about guests or the property. The rooms were the worst I’ve ever seen anywhere, neglected and in terrible condition. We stayed near the Pangkor Marina jetty, and it was easily the worst travel experience of my life. This place was unacceptable from beginning to end. Save your money, time, and sanity, and stay somewhere else.

The room was worn out and full of problems. The balcony bathtub didn’t work, there were bad stains on the walls, and wires stuck out from the TV. A metal chair in the lounge was rusted beyond use. The queen bed had only two thin pillows with yellowish, worn pillowcases, and the sheets were stained with blood. The iron and ironing board were unusable and badly burnt underneath, and the toilet mat looked like it hadn’t been washed in ages. The soap dish was attached to the shower hose fixture, leaving nowhere for even a small bottle of shampoo or shower gel. There was a broken hook behind the toilet door and hardly any toiletries, just hand soap and basic shower gel. At around 3:30pm on 21st October 2025, I arrived with my partner and three Aunts, carrying five suitcases and a couple of plastic bags. A staff member was eating lunch with a friend or colleague near the check-in counter. She seemed annoyed at being interrupted and curtly asked if I was checking in, even though it was obvious from our luggage. That’s no way for a hotel representative to treat guests. Would you want to spend even one night in a room like this? I wouldn’t give the place even one star if I had a choice. The website makes it look scenic and pleasant, which is a complete lie. I’d tell anyone to spend their hard-earned money elsewhere. Not recommended at all. Period.

Handy spot for the marina boatyard. They gave me breakfast for free even though I hadn’t booked it, and the noodles and nasi lemak were delicious.
