The sea view around Rockbund is lovely. The receptionists were very helpful and cooperative when we needed to sort out some last minute changes, and they were pleasant to deal with. Room service was good too, with plenty of snacks available.

Great fishing spot, but the fish make you work for it. My first visit was a blank, then I figured things out on my second trip and caught plenty. What worked for me was going from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM or 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, using live shrimp, a small hook, and a good invisible leader. The fish are shy and sharp-eyed. I didn’t cast far. I dropped the line straight down under the platform, where the action is, and kept my rod in hand since the bites were very subtle. Pull as soon as you feel a nibble, or they can drag your hook and weight into the rocks. You have to be quicker than they are. Happy fishing!

It’s a unique resort with a focus on fishing, and I had a nice experience. There are a couple of things they need to improve, though. The cups and mugs should be cleaner, and the metal poles sticking up could be dangerous, especially since many guests are families with kids.

The surroundings are beautiful and clean, and the air feels comfortable. It was peaceful during my visit. They provide fishing huts and cafes for guests, so you can enjoy the sunset in the evening. I was very satisfied.

A lovely place to unwind, with views of Pangkor Island and the open sea. Watching the sunset is great, and fishing is a must-do if you stay here.
