Ritz Garden Hotel Manjung

I was there for three nights while taking my final exam at UniKL MIMET. The location is very convenient, right beside Billion hypermarket, so it’s easy to pick up personal supplies. Most of the stay was decent, but the cleanliness was a serious problem. There were cockroaches in almost every corner of my room, which was extremely inconvenient and left me traumatised. I may have just been unlucky, but management should get pest control to deal with those insects.

The food was genuinely satisfying, and the ballrooms were tidy and well maintained. Housekeeping was much less reliable. On two separate occasions my room was left uncleaned, and I also saw small cockroaches, which made things uncomfortable. The air purifier in the hall seemed to run constantly, and the water inside looked as though it hadn’t been changed in a while. Ritz Garden Hotel Manjung is a convenient stop for events or a short stay, and it still has some charm. Better cleaning and maintenance would make the guest experience much better.

The buffet breakfast was decent, and checking in went smoothly since I’d booked ahead. But the room access card kept malfunctioning, which was a real hassle every time we went in or out. The room had a pungent old smell, and the dull-looking duvet smelled strange too. There were flying bugs when we entered, and the toilet sink had some moss. It was really unpleasant. I stayed here recently during my trip to Seri Manjung.

The bedsheet was dirty, and the shower area in the toilet was really small, making it hard to move around while showering. The Indian manager had no manners when speaking to guests. I wasn’t satisfied with my two-night stay.
