The bed wasn’t clean. The sheets felt rough and smelled bad, and there seemed to be tiny bugs around. My five-month-old baby ended up with bumps from the bed.

We had arrived at Lumut bus station very early and needed somewhere to rest, so we walked a few minutes and found this hotel. We rang the bell to ask whether they had a room for three. The reception was kind enough to offer room 118, with one single bed and one king-size bed. There was also a RM 3 tax for the Perak government. In the end, we got the rest we needed.

It’s comfortable and affordable, and close to shopping facilities and the Pangkor ferry terminal.
