Sri Manjung Ma Maison Homestay

I stayed one night, 18-19 April 2026, and found the place excellent and very reasonably priced. What meant the most was the owner’s honesty and kindness. I’d accidentally left some belongings behind, and they posted them back to me in KL. Everything arrived safely and in perfect condition. It’s rare to find such good service and a trustworthy owner. I’ll definitely stay again, highly recommended.

This is a huge house at the far end of the neighborhood, so it could handle a loud party. The house next door was empty during our visit in December 2021. The bedrooms having their own bathrooms was a nice plus. Still, there’s a lot to improve. The dining room’s plastic chair was old, and its legs bent outward, making it easy for someone to fall. There were very few plates and bowls, so bring your own if you’re planning a big party. The extra bunk bed downstairs was squeaky and noisy. One extra mattress, in addition to the three double beds in three upstairs bedrooms, was so hard it felt like plywood. One guest also couldn’t sleep well because of a strong smell from the bed in the right-hand bedroom furthest from the staircase. She brought her own clean sheets and pillowcase, but that didn’t help. We were only there one night, luckily, because we had an early boat to Pangkor Laut Resort the next day. It was an okay place to stay, but a nice house like this needs a lot of work.
