The peaceful setting was a nice break from the city, and the hotel is an easy walk to the beach. My room was huge and clean, including the shower and toilet. The receptionist even held my GrabFood order when it arrived, and service was great. Breakfast was really good at RM15 per person. The price was the lowest I found compared with other hotels in Lumut, yet the room was amazingly clean. Families should find it a good fit. There are very large one or two bedroom apartments, and you can ask for an extra mattress for an additional charge. I was there for work and a meeting, but next time I'll bring my family for a holiday in Teluk Batik and Lumut.

The room had enough space, but it was stuffy at night because the air conditioning took a long time to cool it down and never got cold enough. The toilet flush didn't work properly, and the water flow was poor.

The room felt really dated, and the shower water came out very slowly. The lock didn't work, the bed wasn't a queen, and the sofa was destroyed and unusable. They really need to pay attention to this.

The room seemed poorly maintained, with old fashioned, low quality furniture. The balcony door wouldn't lock, and the air conditioning wasn't cold, so it was uncomfortable to sleep.

For a simple vacation with small kids, it was a good stay. We paid RM250 for two nights in a standard room on the fourth floor. The lift is right by reception. They took a RM50 deposit, gave me a receipt to claim it back later, and handed over an access card. Unfortunately, the card didn't work, so they gave me a key instead. The room was clean, with no stained or dirty towels or sheets, and the air conditioning was clean and worked well. It had basic amenities and was just okay, so don't expect luxurious or cozy furniture. Outside by the hillside there are two small pools for kids. You can see Teluk Batik beach from the resort, and Marina Island jetty, for trips to Pangkor Island, is a six minute drive away. I'd suggest the admin add a proper kitchenette cabinet if possible.
