TSR Seafront Hotel

The room was neat and clean, 9/10, and they had the toiletries and towels ready for the number of people. Check-in and checkout were very fast. When I had trouble with the card reader, a technician came straight away and changed the card. The refrigerator wasn't very cold, so it could use maintenance. At night the corridor was dim, which felt a bit scary. A few white lights there would help. Marrybrown is permanently closed, but there's a restaurant across from the hotel, I think it's called yacht restaurant. The hotel is very close to pantai teluk kemang, just a short walk, so it's handy for a family staycation, especially with kids. There are lots of food stalls near the beach in the evening, but I'd get food early since they may be closed later. At night you could try yacht restaurant if you don't have transport. Don't worry, Malaysia has food grab, right? 😂 For the price, I think it should be a bit lower since food isn't served. Still, I loved the stay, 9/10 ❤️

The big room was cozy, and the Sabahan receptionist was very helpful. But the minibar/chiller was broken, the reading lamp didn't work, and the TV only had YouTube. On the second evening I complained to the Indian receptionist about these things and the toilet's broken faucet and weak shower water. They promised to send maintenance, but nobody came. The corridor outside was very dark, though luckily my room was near the lift. Marrybrown is permanently closed. Parking around here was quite susah and seram. For what we paid, I could get a better place at another hotel.

The air conditioning couldn't cool the room down, and the WiFi wasn't working at all. The receptionist told us casually to use our own mobile data and hotspot, even though WiFi is a basic service we'd paid for. Without it, the smart TV was useless, showing “no signal” and unable to connect to our phones. The receptionist said maintenance would be called, but nobody showed up. No follow-up, just an empty promise. The place felt poorly managed and unreliable, and absolutely wasn't worth the money. I regret trusting the positive reviews. We checked in today and immediately ran into problems. I felt completely ripped off.

I found the shared kitchen a thoughtful feature for guests who want to cook, though my schedule was packed and I didn't get a chance to use it. My room was exceptionally clean and well maintained, fresh and tidy, which made it a comfortable place to unwind. A couple of the lights could use minor maintenance, but that didn't take away from the stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me warmly and were genuinely helpful throughout. Everything went smoothly, and I left with a very positive impression. This was one of the best hotels I've experienced in Port Dickson. I'd gladly return on my next trip to PD and recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming place with great service and a comfortable atmosphere.
