BlueBerry Inn

My first work trip stay here left a really good impression. I found out after checking in that the laundry and bakery have the same owner as the hotel. Guests get one free laundry service per day. They sometimes offer bread for free in the morning and evening, and the bakery also discounts bread now and then. If you don't mind bread that's close to its expiry date, it's worth trying.

The bed was fine, and the place is affordable. It's also very clean, especially compared with the other inn in the same row, and there's no unpleasant smell since smoking isn't allowed. Check-in and checkout were quick. There's no kettle or mug in the room, but you can get them from the water dispenser near the counter. The aircon struggled in the daytime heat, though the room didn't get hot enough to make me sweat. It only started feeling cool at night. I'd stay here again.

There are lots of places to eat nearby, and the hotel is close to a shopping mall. For a reasonable price, it's a good place to stay. They also provide one free self-service laundry use per stay, each day.

The welcome made a real difference for me. I hadn't been back to my Welsh homeland from Australia in 13 years, and the staff were genuinely interested in me. Dean & Jess were so helpful and accommodating, nothing felt like too much trouble. I felt like part of the Blueberry family, and they definitely keep the welcome in the hillside. The boutique hotel itself was beautiful, with a comfortable, cosy room that smelled lovely whenever I came back. Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you all at Blueberry inn.
