We got in late at night, and they still accommodated all four of us in a four-bed dorm. The hostel is in a cozy spot, right by Melaka’s heritage attractions, and it’s great for a budget traveller despite feeling a little cramped. Cleanliness wasn’t the best, but at just RM20 per night, what more can you expect?
The staff were friendly and helpful, even though Cantonese is their first language and they only speak a little Bahasa and English. The beds were comfy, everything was super clean, and the location was great. The shower got hot, though the pressure wasn't strong. I would've stayed again, but it was fully booked. Must be popular!
It's a nice place, but I felt really violated by one Pakistani man there. He was friendly at first, then asked for a selfie and kissed my cheek. He kept staring at me, and I felt so uncomfortable, like he wanted to strip me.
I really enjoyed the cozy bed here. It's a small, nice guest house with a friendly atmosphere, and a good place for backpackers.
