I chose the cheapest room, a Standard Queen with no window, but it was still quite spacious and the air-conditioning worked perfectly. The Coway water dispenser was a big plus. Aeon mall is just across the road, and there are local 'warung' downstairs. I booked through Agxxx, which was much cheaper than the standard rate displayed at reception. At check-in, note the RM3 non-refundable heritage tax and RM50 refundable deposit. The hotel was around 3.7 G when I booked, but I gave it a try and the price matched my expectations. Cleanliness could be better: parts of the wooden table looked mouldy, corners weren’t properly cleaned, and the small pillow looked like it had never been cleaned. There’s no lift, so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage.

The cartoon-themed room made the stay fun and felt like a special touch. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and ready to help, which made me feel at home. It’s conveniently located for exploring Melaka. I had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend it.

I’ve been back many times because every stay has been great. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable, and the staff are welcoming, friendly, and attentive. It has a warm, homely feel, and the location makes getting around the city easy. I’ll keep coming back. Highly recommend.

At check-in the room was clearly not cleaned properly. The floor was dusty, with some thick liquid left on it. On both nights, a strong cigarette smell filled the room at night. I had babies with me, and this was unacceptable. Do they care about guests’ comfort and safety? The stay was uncomfortable, unhealthy, and completely disappointing. This was one of my worst hotel experiences, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
