The bed was comfortable, though the room itself was small. Water pressure was fine, but I couldn't get a hot shower. It's easy to walk to the city's attractions from here. If you're driving, remember to get a parking coupon or use the parking complex next door.

The old-school music and ambience brought back a nostalgic feeling, and the prices were affordable. I especially enjoyed the spaghetti bolognese and the lunch set rice with fried chicken. Those are a must try. I'd happily recommend stopping by.

I only stopped in for coffee, and the place itself was nice, with seating both inside and outdoors. The staff could have been more welcoming, though. The cashier took a while to understand my order. Smoking is allowed outside, but there aren't ashtrays, so they tell you to put cigarette ends in the plants. They don't seem to care or clean up.

At around S$45 a night, it was well priced, and Pahlawan shopping mall is only about 100 meters away. This is nearly a perfect place to stay, so I'll definitely come back and would recommend it to others. I heard they also have a nice connecting room that could suit a family or group.

I often visit the area because my dad's hometown is in melaka, but I hadn't come across this lovely spot before. I didn't stay, just dropped in for tea and coffee. The furniture and music make it feel like a hidden gem, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. The coffee and tea were pretty excellent too.
