D'riverside Inn Melaka

For the price, this is a steal: a cheap, clean room with good service near the hotspot. It's a shoplot hotel, so don't expect too much, but it's a decent place to get a night's rest.

It's an average place. Parking is hard to find, though the parking area is nearby.

The owner and staff were warm and friendly, and even though my family arrived late for check-in, around 10 pm, the owner gave our kids some buns before we headed out for a late dinner. We booked two rooms from 22nd March 2019 until 25th March 2019. One was a distinctive loft-style room with two beds, where our kids stayed and were happy. Its wooden stairs took me back to my granny's old wooden house from the 1970s, about 40 years ago. I liked how clean the place was, and the antiques in the lobby, corridors, and every corner were well kept. Jonker Walk and other interesting spots are within walking distance. I love Malacca, and my first impression of it was how clean it is. That made the trip unforgettable for me. A great place to stay. Five stars for the kindness and hospitality. Hope to see you again.

We had a great stay here. The rooms were spacious and clean, the service was friendly, and the hotel felt both convenient and relaxing. There was an interesting display of vintage items, plus a cafe, beer garden, live music, good food, and transport service.
