The place was spacious and clean, and being close to Jonker was a plus. There were several problems, though. The bedspread had blood stains, and CCTV covered the lounge area, which I found completely unacceptable for personal privacy. The mattress also wasn't to my liking, so I didn't sleep well. This is an upper unit in a shop lot, renovated with extended bedrooms. The toilet and washroom are open at the top and sit beside the kitchen, which I found totally unhygienic. Cooking isn't allowed, and there's no microwave. I was due to check out at 12pm Sunday, but the free Wi-Fi stopped working from midnight onwards. Parking is in council spaces and costs RM0.60 per hour from 8am to 5pm on Sunday, so it isn't free.

We rented this spacious, clean apartment for the weekend through AirBnb. It's an easy walk to jonkers street, parking was simple, and there are lots of food options along the same row.

There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a water heater, refrigerator and various other amenities. The place was clean and comfortable, and it's near Jonker Street. Next door there's a mini market and a food stall selling Yong Tahu (fried tofu). It was delicious. Recommended for families on vacation.

You can reach Jonker Street on foot in about five minutes. Downstairs there are plenty of convenience stores, snack shops, and food courts, which is handy for families or groups of friends. The place was clean and fully equipped, and the air conditioning was very cold. 👍
