Driftwood Guest House

Thanks for the beautiful photos. I’m having treatment at The Healing Zone. Could I come see the house this week?

A cosy, homey place to stay. The host offered simple food, and it was delicious.

The homemade breakfast and the owners’ friendly smiles were such a comforting start to the day. They also welcomed us with soy milk and sweets, which helped ease our travel tiredness. Their thoughtful tips about the area were much appreciated. There are four room types, so choosing one is part of the fun. Since we’re from Japan, we did wonder if picking the Japanese room was the right call! We missed out on the nearby sunrise spot because it was canceled due to rain. In the evening, the plaza nearby was buzzing with locals eating and drinking. We joined in and probably had a little too much. The beer was Tigers, crisp and refreshing in the heat.

The room was exceptionally clean, and the owners were so kind. They gave me maps, pointed out tourist spots and places to eat, and even shared some local secrets. They were always checking whether I needed anything and took care of every request.
