There are plenty of free parking spaces and lots of shops nearby, so the location is convenient. I’ve stayed here many times, and I hope they pay closer attention to the bathroom cleaning, especially the corners of the shower. The towels are quite old as well and could do with replacing.

The rooms weren’t particularly clean, and I wouldn’t recommend this place. While I was out, staff entered my room without permission and my tablet (notepad) went missing. I reported it to the female receptionist, then another male staff member suddenly brought it out from the office. He said a housekeeper had found it, but couldn’t say where. On checkout day, I also noticed the pin lock on my luggage had been tampered with and its reset button was damaged.

There’s still plenty of F&B within walking distance, and Jonker Street is only a short drive away, so it remains a great place to stay. The room has become a bit rundown compared with our first visit two years ago.

Really disappointed by the front desk. They couldn’t manage even a simple request for one extra pillow, which is unacceptable for a hotel this size. There’s no water dispenser, which is inconvenient, and extra mineral water costs more. The bedsheet also had a stain. The experience was far below what I expected.
