The secure entry was a plus: you get smart cards for the reception, floor, and rooms. The shared room has a TV and coffee maker, but the bedrooms themselves have no TV, fridge, or other appliances. They're quite cramped, with the bed taking up most of the space. Bathrooms aren't in the rooms and are shared by four or five rooms on the floor. They were kept very clean, though having one in the room would be much more convenient. The hotel is close to Melaka's tourist sights, all walkable, and you can also rent a bicycle. With some searching, you could find better hotels.

The staff were helpful, and both the room and bathroom were good. The whole hostel was very clean, especially the bathroom. It's about a minute's walk from the Jonker night walk. The house numbers around there are quite mixed up, so look carefully when trying to find it.

For RM100 a night for a three-person bedroom, it wasn't bad at all. The rooms were clean, and the staff were resourceful. It was quiet and relaxing when we stayed, and many attractions are nearby. Free coffee and tea were available. Maybe they could add some music in the common area.

Jonker Street is within walking distance, which is very convenient. The street where this homestay is located gets pretty quiet at night, with fewer people around. I wouldn't recommend it if you're on your own, especially for women.
