At 4 AM, the owner of this "hotel" came into our room, woke my friend by stroking her arm, and asked if she wanted a beer. He was the most unprofessional businessman I've ever met. Because I paid by credit card through Agoda instead of using cash, he treated us like dirt and accused us of being uncivilized, racist, and disruptive because my roommate mumbled in her sleep. This apparently isn't the first time he's behaved this way. Read the Trip Advisor reviews about him. I honestly think he's a psycho and close to being a flat-out rapist. I hope the place gets shut down soon. For your safety, don't stay here.

The owner was friendly when we arrived, but that wasn't enough. We weren't given the room we paid for, and there was no breakfast in the kitchen in the morning, despite it supposedly being free. The owner didn't show up for checkout, so we couldn't get our deposit back. That kind of behavior isn't acceptable, even for a cheap room.

By the end of 2018, "Home Sweet Home" had changed its name to RAENO TRAVELLER LODGE. The place is quite nice and very affordable, with daily or monthly stays available. There's a convenience store, Mamak restaurant, and self-service laundry nearby. Dataran Pahlawan Shopping Mall is within walking distance, and the tourist attraction spots aren't very far either. Sharing some photos to show more of the place.

The latest photos show the exterior, with the entrance beside SUKI Lodge & Thai massage. The previous person in charge has changed, and upgrading work is still underway. Most probably, at least 90% will be complete this coming July 2018. The photos shown here no longer apply or aren't available anymore.
