Hotel Bao Shu

A lousy, uncomfortable hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it to tourists. They charged me a cleaning fee at checkout, saying my room was dirty when I asked the receptionist about it. Was I expected to tidy the place up to the condition it was in when I checked in? People usually leave the sheets and towels in one spot. We're not supposed to fold and arrange them again.

Parking can be hard to find if you're driving, and the steps are slippery when wet. They could be a problem with heavy luggage, for elderly people, or for OKU. The management and staff were awful, and I wouldn't waste my money here. It feels like a very low-budget hotel, with underpaid staff, so don't expect courteous service.

I had paid in full, but when I arrived to check in, my name wasn't there, even though I'd called to confirm and was told it was. I wasted time and money finding another hotel at the last minute. Staff should check the name attached to bookings made through apps before assuring customers their reservation is available. If the hotel's account on an app is no longer active, they should ask the app to remove the listing. The employees also need to be friendlier to customers.

The price during peak hours didn't feel worth it, and I'd think twice before booking. I'd chosen the hotel based on the photos, then was shocked by what I found: dust all over the room, dirty pillows, and a very small toilet. The bathroom heater stopped working after a few minutes, and the receptionist was a bit rude.
