The room and bathroom were clean, but poor upkeep and broken amenities made the stay disappointing. The bathroom door was broken, and although we told the receptionist on duty right away, it wasn't dealt with satisfactorily. We'd booked a room with an Android TV but were offered a different room with a regular TV and asked if that was okay. Since we'd already paid in full at check-in, we didn't feel we had much choice but to accept. There was no tea, coffee, glasses, or kettle in the room either. Those were downstairs, so we had to go down whenever we wanted a drink. The hotel also didn't match its Booking.com description. Based on this stay, we wouldn't recommend it.

I came from Jakarta and found this to be a good-value budget hotel right in Melaka town. The location is strategic, with Taming tower, melaka river cruise, jonker, the mall, and other tourist spots reachable on foot. The room was clean, the AC worked well, and the bathroom was OK. Staff were polite, friendly, and nice. ND hotel is a good budget option.

I paid RM170 for one night in a king bed room during Christmas, which felt reasonable for a budget stay. The room was clean and the air conditioning was very cold. I chose the deluxe room with a window, but the view was just the back of the shoplot, so I regretted that choice. The bed was comfortable, though the pillow was thin and not great. You can ask for one extra pillow free, but a second extra costs RM5. The sheets and towel looked a bit yellowish, but didn't smell. Traffic is often heavy because the hotel is near attractions, and parking is limited since it's public parking.

There was free parking for guests, and the staff were friendly. The rooms were clean, though the AC in mine was a little noisy. ND Hotel is now called glex hotel. It's one of the most affordable budget hotels in central melaka, with tourist spots, a mall, night market, food stalls, self laundry, and jetty shahbandar all within walking distance.
