Hotel Sentral Melaka @ City Centre

The only okay part was breakfast. After housekeeping cleaned our room on the second day, we found blood stains on the blanket they’d provided. That’s unacceptable and shows very poor hygiene and service. The first day, the toilet smelled awful and the air conditioner wasn’t working properly. We told the morning reception, but they were very slow. At night, the AC was still the same, and reception said maintenance had already checked it. Thankfully, Syahirah on the night shift was helpful and changed our room. She was the only staff member who dealt with it professionally. I stayed two nights, and the experience was terrible and very disappointing. First time here, and definitely my last.

The furniture is mostly old and could use an upgrade, though it all worked and didn’t affect my comfort. The room was quiet and clean, a good place to rest, and the price was reasonable. Breakfast was tasty and had a good variety. I also appreciated the easy access to Coway water in the hallway and the roomy parking area. The hotel is near the town mall and other basic amenities. A solid, hassle-free budget stay.

The staff were okay, though a smile would’ve helped. The hotel is centrally located, but the room was in poor shape and dirty. The toilets were very dirty too, and need a lot of cleaning. I stayed one Friday night.

The rooms were comfortable and came with comfy slippers, a shaving pack, toothbrushes, and more. There’s a water machine just outside the hall if you’re thirsty, and the halls have lo-fi music playing all day and night. It’s near lots of famous tourist attractions and restaurants, and the price is cheap. There’s a rooftop swimming pool, but no gym.
