The rooms were clean, but there was no floor mat, which was inconvenient. No soap or other toiletries were provided, and the rooms were very basic. We picked the hotel because it was so close to the jetty, though it wasn't a pleasant place to stay. We checked out very early the next morning. We reached the hotel in the evening after booking two rooms. It's on the second floor, so we had to carry our bags up the stairs, which isn't a convenient entrance. Staff gave us the keys and towels and told us Astro wasn't available.

It's a budget hotel that works for a short stay in Mersing city. The floor in the room was a bit slippery, and the layout was confusing, especially where the TV was placed. Bring an extension cord, since some of the outlets are broken.

We arrived to find out the hotel was no longer on the online booking apps, so we had to book a room on the spot. Luckily, they still had one available.

Room 208 was in rough shape. The floor felt greasy and sticky, the sheets had a musty smell, and I found cockroaches. There was just one power socket, already being used by the TV, so bring an extension lead if you're staying. The light switch was loose and the water heater wouldn't work. I didn't take a photo, sorry. This was the branch beside Syed Ali restaurant. I know it's a budget hotel, but even so, it's a bit much. Thankfully I didn't ask my wife to write this review, or she'd have had plenty more to say.
