There's a good range at breakfast, with enough choice to keep even picky eaters happy. Our room at this two-year-old hotel was compact but comfortable, though the shower area felt a little cramped. If you're driving, the basement parking is limited, but there's a large outdoor lot behind the hotel. Plenty of good places to eat are within walking distance.

We slept well because the room was fairly quiet. It was tidy and clean, though there was a faint cigarette smell in the toilet and I couldn't tell where it came from. Breakfast had good options and variety.

The helpful front desk staff and the hotel's strict no-smoking policy were a plus. Breakfast is included, and in-house guests can use the gym and swimming pool, which is 1.2m deep. Waterfront is a 10-minute walk away. One of the top-notch hotels I'd recommend.

I arrived at 3 and queued for an hour. With that many customers, they had only one counter open. After checking in at the front desk, I still had to wait for the room. I finally got it at 5:20 PM, after a total wait of two and a half hours. They promised to let me check out at 1 PM to make up for it, but they didn't. The electricity was cut off sometime around 12, and the front desk said they had “forgotten” to keep it on. So I got no compensation. The room was just so-so, the air conditioning wasn't very cold, and breakfast was average. Worst experience ever, and not worth it.

The bedroom was great and very tidy, and the bathroom was clean with a water heater. They're currently offering rooms for RM120 a night for Ramadan. The basement car park is small, with space for about 18 cars. You have to register your license plate at the main lobby counter before parking there, or you won't be allowed in.
