The Roosevelt Studio

The staircase is steep, and we heard people singing karaoke late at night during our stay. The rooms, though, are spacious and quite clean. I didn’t expect them to be like that from the location.

We came back for the long holidays to visit relatives, but ended up checking out one day early. We’d booked a studio from 21/3 to 23/3 and couldn’t sleep until 3am. Our room was at the back, with a pub bistro behind it. Customers sang karaoke from the time we checked in at 5pm until 3am. There was also a bad smell in the room. When we explained the reason to the person in charge at checkout, he just said it was the holidays and the front rooms were full.

It was quite okay, with a clean, cozy room and toilet and all the basic features. But there was dust on the air conditioner, no hanger for our clothes or towels, and the one in the toilet was broken. It was noisy at night too, and I couldn’t watch a YouTube video properly because the TV kept malfunctioning.

That short vacation from KK left me sleepless and restless. The beds were just too itchy, please clean your sheets! Not a pleasant stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you want a nightmare.
