The bedroom was clean and neat, and there’s hot water for a shower or bath. Turn the shower knob right for hot and left for cold. I’d recommend it for a temporary stop, but not a vacation. The room was RM77, with a RM30 deposit, so I paid RM107.50 in total.

There’s no lift in this old hotel, so I’d be fine staying here for transit or one night. The room was a bit run down, smelled strongly of cigarettes, and the aircon was a little noisy. There was hot water and Wi-Fi, but no TV channels at all. I booked through Agoda using “booking without credit card” and paid a RM30 deposit.

The beds were comfortable, and the staff were really pleasant. It’s near markets, malls, and Times Square by the water, with cheap rates that make it decent for a few nights. My main issue was the smoke smell on some floors. As a non-smoker, I found it overwhelming.

The bed was too uncomfortable for me, though the hotel works well for a short stay. It’s an older place, but the price is reasonable and cheap. I liked the location, not far from the malls, and there’s plenty of parking available.
