The staff are very kind, and the place feels relaxed and is quieter than some other accommodation in town. It's a reasonable budget option, though the wifi is bad, as it seems to be around Miri generally. Check-in is informal and a little messy, with WhatsApp messages. The shower drain is just a basic hole and smells. You may also be woken by the local muezzin, but that's part of the culture here, so I don't see it as something to complain about. Expect the usual quirks and limitations of budget accommodation.

It's very cheap and okay if your budget is really tight. Call the hotel before arriving to check in, since there's no check-in counter. The rooms and toilets are fairly clean and don't smell, though they're the older style you'd find in an old hotel.

It's in a convenient location, but check-in took 30 minutes. The floor and bathroom were a little dirty, and the safety door lock was broken. During my 4D3N stay, housekeeping never came to clean or even asked about the room.

Very cheap, but definitely not somewhere I'd bring family. You get a bed and toilet paper, and that's about it. The toilet is in the hallway and fairly decent. There's no reception. It feels more like a hostel than a homestay or hotel.

The worst. There was no aircon or fan, and the bed had bedbugs, insects and ants.
