Mciti Suites by Evernent

The convenient location and well-kept facilities make Mciti Apartment a good option for families or short trips. The rooms are spacious and clean, and I found it comfortable to stay there.

It felt like good value for a stay. There’s parking both inside the compound and outside, and having security at the entrance was reassuring. The rooms are studio-style, with a kitchen for light cooking and a small living area where you can sit and watch TV.

The security was excellent, and the security officer was helpful. But cleanliness and housekeeping need a much closer look. The parking basement lobby and our unit both had a dusty, unpleasant smell, the floor was sticky, and one kitchen ceiling corner had a stain that might have been water damage or mould. The corridor was uninviting, and the bathroom floors in both rooms were wet. There was no light in the lift, so we had to use our phone lights. A previous guest had left underwear in the master bedroom toilet. I told reception when we checked in, but at checkout the receptionist on duty said that I had left the same underwear, even though I had already reported it. The master bedroom doorknob was broken. I reported it and it was fixed that day, but the same problem came back the next day. I hope management takes a thorough look at housekeeping and cleanliness.

If you only need a roof for the night, the relatively low room price is one small plus. Just don’t expect much service. The hall smelled bad, the pillow was smelly, and the toilet sink was nasty. They didn’t provide shower gel or a toothbrush.
