Lodge Paradize Hotel by OYO Rooms

The staff were polite, but the room was filthy, dusty all over, with stained curtains and a toilet that looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years. Within minutes, small bugs were crawling on us. The mattresses were old and springy, and the beds had almost no cushion. We booked a queen bed but got two twin beds pushed together. The air-conditioning barely worked. We arrived around 16:30, went out to eat, and came back at 19:30. The room was bad enough that we checked out straight away to find somewhere else, but the hotel refused a refund, saying we'd gone past the 5 - 10 minute policy window. The elevator doors close very fast, so be careful. I wouldn't recommend this place. They don't seem to maintain a decent standard. Holiday Inn Express might be a better choice.

Rooms were fairly clean, though the services and amenities felt incomplete. The best part is being right beside the MRT station, which makes getting around easy. A handy, comfortable option for a trip.

The room was big, but the floor felt dusty, so I wasn't confident the bed was clean either. The place looked nothing like its Google photos. For 135rm for one night, it was very basic: no TV, tissue paper, or phone, and I had to go downstairs to ask reception for an extra towel. Somehow some people get a mini fridge. There's no bidet, even though I've seen one at cheaper, worse budget hotels. The water heater sounded like a plane taking off, while the water pressure was just a weak stream. Parking costs another 10rm per day. The old building is beside the road and a traffic stop, so it was noisy, though maybe that was just our room.

I emailed ahead to say I'd be arriving late, but still had to wait a long time for a security guard to let me in. They put me in a room beside the metro cooling system ventilators, and the noise kept me awake all night. When I asked to move, they rudely said no. The staff were unbelievably rude. Avoid this place if you want a good stay in KL.
