M1 City Center Hotel & Suites

I've lived here for a year, and it's been very bad so far. The wifi doesn't work, water problems happen often, and now the electricity has been out for almost a week. I've complained to several parties, but nothing has been done. It's truly awful.

Mosquitoes kept biting me almost every day, and with no security guard around, I never felt safe. The water filter and laundry also aren't free anymore. I was glad to move out for good. First and last stay.

There has been no hot water here since October last year, and when the water supply is cut, it takes a long time to come back. It can last only a few hours, then be completely gone at night when everyone is home. I think something may be wrong with the pump. Please upgrade the pipes or at least fix the tank and pump. My room has also had bed bugs since July 2024. They changed the bed frame and mattress once, then replaced just the mattress another time, but the infestation is still there. Please get proper pest control in, not just the hotel cleaners. When I asked for another bed change, the old frame with bugs was left in my room, even though I was told it had all been replaced. The air conditioner has needed repairs more than three times. The manager, Alvin, can be rude when we complain and acts as if nothing is wrong, but is quick to charge us extra or ask us to fix the smart meter. He doesn't seem responsible for the problems. Please take the complaints seriously and find a better manager. I also want a full-time guard downstairs for our safety. The guards keep changing. Owner of GFG group, my room is 1012, please act immediately. We need proactive customer service across your hotels and a more proactive maintenance team to solve things faster. Please fire my agent Shirlyn. She took commission from us and then left us on our own.

The deposit being held for a month with no clear explanation was the last straw. M1 Hotel threatens to disconnect utilities over late payments, yet doesn't return deposits on time. My first year there still had someone in charge who dealt with issues promptly. In the second year, the service and cleanliness fell badly. Bed bugs and mice became a regular problem, and repeated complaints brought no improvement. Management seemed not to care, and with no reception or responsible person available, it was very hard to get help. After two years, the decline in cleanliness, service, and accountability left me deeply disappointed. My stay at M1 Hotel was a disaster, and I wouldn't recommend it as a place to stay.
