That pillow was so soft it was hardly useful, and I didn't sleep comfortably on the bed either. The air conditioner never got cold all day. I really wouldn't recommend this place.

The lobby's mini library was a big plus for a bookworm like me, and the room felt cozy and homey even though the outside looked a bit unimpressive. I stayed 2D1N at Bei Boutique Hotel, and it was one of the best places I've stayed in Muar. When I accidentally locked myself out, I went to the lobby for help. The housekeeper who came to assist was already in front of my room before I got there. The service, rooms, and location were all top notch. For affordable accommodation, this place is a good choice.

A water tank kept knocking every 10-15 minutes all day, which made it hard to sleep. Noise from vehicles on the main road also came through the windows. The air conditioner blows straight at your face because of its placement. This hotel was too noisy for me, and I can't recommend it.

The only real plus was having its own carpark. At over RM200 a night, I'd expect better maintained facilities. I'll avoid staying here again, especially since nearby three-star hotels can offer better quality for similar prices, though you might have to park by the roadside. The soundproofing was bad. The air conditioner ran noisily without stopping, and there was a similar pop-pop sound from somewhere else in the room all night. The pillow was flat, and its pilled pillowcase was still in use. A drawer wouldn't fit in properly and seemed dangerous. The shower head holder was loose, so you had to hold the shower yourself. Wallpaper was peeling, and the shower water temperature kept changing because of an issue with the mixer.
