Spring Season Hotel

The room itself was clean and comfortable, and there was only a slight smell. For the price, I found that acceptable and still think the hotel has potential. The facilities and surroundings were fine for what it cost. But the staff's attitude turned the stay sour. I told the front desk I wanted to leave an item at the counter temporarily and come back for it around 6 p.m. They didn't object, just said the hotel wouldn't be responsible if it went missing, which I understood and accepted. After I'd gone quite far away, though, I got a call telling me to return by 1 p.m. or they'd throw it out or call the police. I explained politely that I couldn't get back right away and suggested they put it in my car parked just outside if they didn't want it at the counter. They refused and scolded me, saying they suspected it could be illegal. The police later came and checked the item, and it was completely safe. Still, nobody apologized for the trouble or misunderstanding. I know safety matters and misunderstandings happen, but I felt treated like a criminal before I had a chance to explain. That was unprofessional and humiliating. As a non-local guest, I also asked politely about the parking app or coupon, and the staff member rudely told me to “read it myself.” A simple explanation would've been enough. Sometimes one person's attitude can damage an otherwise good reputation, and I hope management takes this seriously.

The location is central, and there's a nice cafe beside the lobby. I stayed in a “King window” room. The toilet was clean, though the exhaust fan comes on with the light and gets quite noisy if you leave it on at night. The pillowcase had stains.

The room was clean and the receptionist was nice. It was pretty much what you'd expect from a budget hotel. The tap was broken and there was a funky smell in the toilet, but everything else was fine.

In Room 211, the bathroom door wouldn't lock because the latch and the hole didn't line up. The two queen beds just fit, leaving no spare space for a prayer mat. Are we supposed to pray standing on the bed? The wooden cupboard and mini fridge are in the toilet right beside the shower. Who thought that was a good design?
