The only drawback was the stairs, so pack light if you stay here. I booked a superior king room, which was small, though the toilet was quite spacious. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was cold, and the water pressure was strong. You can ask the counter for a hair dryer or iron. There are lots of places to eat within walking distance and plenty of parking. They gave us three one-hour parking coupons at check-in, and required a RM50 security deposit. The hotel exceeded my expectations.

I couldn’t sleep at all because I got bitten all over. What a terrible, disappointing experience. How could there be so many insects in the bed? I can’t imagine what might have happened if even one had crawled into my ear.

It’s a cheap but very old hotel, with missing floor tiles and no hairdryer. The location isn’t too bad, but Starbucks is gone.

The hotel’s near plenty of places to eat, and there’s a cafe and Watson downstairs if you don’t feel like going far. The receptionist also gives you a parking coupon, depending on how long you’re staying. Parking still costs money on Saturdays and Sundays. I was here for one night for a wedding dinner and didn’t take many photos. The room was clean, with a roomy bathroom. The Superior King has a small window, as shown in the pictures, but the bed was surprisingly comfortable and the duvet was really good. Just know there’s no lift, so you’ll need to climb to the third floor.
