Aeton Hotel

I came to Aeton Hotel to rest, but at 8 in the morning I got a full construction racket: drilling, hammering, banging, the lot. There was no warning, no courtesy, and no apology. I paid for a place to sleep, not to be woken by a jackhammer, and management seemed not to care whether guests got any rest. It completely wrecked my stay. If I wanted a jackhammer alarm, I’d have booked at a construction site. This felt like torture, not a hotel stay. Avoid Aeton Hotel today.

The washroom cleanliness wasn’t okay, with stains and mold here and there. Service was just okay, and they didn’t provide toiletries.

I noticed the cleaning staff working without shoes. That could leave the guest rooms dirty, so please take the necessary action.

I stayed two nights while attending a course at USIM. The hotel is about 10 minutes from USIM and five minutes from Aeon Nilai, with Family Mart, Secret recipe and a few other places to eat or grab snacks within walking distance. Parking was easy too, since the hotel sits at the end of a row of shop lots and there’s plenty of space. My Agoda check-in took less than five minutes. They checked my IC, and the receptionist was polite and accommodating. The room was basic but had what I needed. I chose one without a window; it smelled fine, and the sheets were clean. The towel was thin, but I’d brought my own. There was a kettle, bottled drinking water and a TV. The shower had working hot water and good pressure, and the aircond cooled well and could be adjusted. The iron and board were in a shared spot beside the lift. Good value for the price.
