It’s close to Telok Nipah beach and right among Pulau Pangkor’s nightlife. The room was clean and reasonably priced, with a hot shower, mini fridge, and kettle with instant coffee. There’s also a Coway dispenser for hot and cold water in the alley.

We were left without a room, and the whole experience was awful. We phoned the resort two days before our booking to confirm both the room and our check-in date. The day after that call, they cancelled our booking and never told us. When we got to the counter, we were shocked and disappointed, and the staff didn’t try to help us find somewhere to stay. I’d give zero stars if I could. I absolutely don’t recommend it. Be careful booking here in peak season, because they may cancel without any notice.

The location in Teluk Nipah is handy, just a few steps from the beach and water sports, with food easy to find at the small restaurants and hawker stalls along the road. The bathroom and toilet were clean and nice, the pool was okay, and breakfast was tolerable. The room itself was an okay size, neither spacious nor tiny, but there was sand on the bedsheet at check-in. The floor outside my room was filthy and nobody came to clean it. I wonder where housekeeping was. I was on the first floor, and the stairs were steep, so take care with luggage. The old TV didn’t work and just took up space, and there was no fridge in the room. There’s no parking space. Watch out for the monkeys at the pool: I was relaxing there with a mochachino from the nearby kiosk when one suddenly grabbed it and ran off with its family.

We were still carrying our things to the car and hadn’t handed back the key when staff came barging into the room to clean, before noon. Isn’t 12 to 3 enough time for cleaning?

The beach is very close, just over 300 meters away, and an easy walk. Seems suitable for a stay with kids.
