Voyage Retreat Pulau Pangkor

Voyage Retreat’s courtyard and shared area were lovely places to sit with tea, and the clean, thoughtfully designed rooms had a stylish industrial look. But what I’ll remember most is how the team treated us. My child became ill just before our trip. I called to ask whether we might check in a little early so they could rest, and Director Bernard told us to come right away and said he’d arrange a room. A buggy was waiting when we arrived, which helped with my sick child, and the team later went out of their way to help me get medication. Their warmth and flexibility turned what could have been a hard trip into a comfortable, memorable stay. The place is beautiful, but the genuine care from the people behind it is what made us feel looked after. Thank you, Bernard and team. We’ll always remember your kindness. ❤️

We had a beautiful sunrise from our balcony, and even the seniors in our group had their needs taken care of. Bernard was courteous and felt like a friend, with recommendations that were spot on because he knows pangkor inside out. There are great food options just below chinatown. The service and stay felt on par with any 5-star hotel. A huge part of what made our pangkor trip so great was Voyage Retreat. Thank you for an absolutely perfect homestay experience.

The team made a strong impression, especially Mr. Bernard, the manager. He was professional, helpful, and knows the island inside out. I stayed three nights, and as someone who travels often, I found the experience a bit special compared with many places I’ve visited. Though it’s in a town area, the resort feels like a calm, hidden tropical spot, surrounded by greenery and the sounds of birds and monkeys. The units blend modern and cottage styles with wood and concrete. My room was spacious, very clean, and carefully built with quality materials. The comfortable bed and pillows, roomy shower separate from the toilet, hairdryer, and water filter all felt well considered. There’s a shared dining space above the lobby for relaxing or having a small gathering. Breakfast comes from a menu with local or western options, and the Arabica coffee was surprisingly good. We tried lasagna and teriyaki chicken for dinner, and both were delicious at reasonable prices. I’d recommend trying them. I’d rate the stay 9.5/10, and would highly recommend it for a comfortable, quality stay in Pangkor.

Bernard and the staff made me feel at home during our three-night stay. Our family, including two kids, had a great time at the resort and on pangkor island. The newly built rooms were comfortable and spacious, the beds were comfy, and the showers were great. Mr.Bernard went the extra mile helping with our daily activities and was always there for whatever we needed, day or night. It was a 5star experience at a resort with great architecture. I’ll definitely return to Voyage Retreat on a future pangkor visit. Keep up the good work!
