The staff member was kind and came to check the room herself after I explained the problems. I’d booked a deluxe room, but it looked nothing like the photos. It was extremely dirty, with stained linen, a smelly pillow cover, a very dirty toilet, and mosquitoes everywhere. The price was high too. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, so think twice.

The room service was better than I’d expect at this kind of hotel. Every day they cleaned, changed the towels, and topped up the water, shower soap, and body lotion. We first had room 112 on the ground floor, which felt musty and had only a window facing the playground, so we moved to room 201 upstairs. That one had a balcony looking over the gardens, plus a gallery for drying clothes. The accommodation itself is older and worn, but there’s good food nearby and a long, clean beach.

The hotel is in a good location, and the mattress was excellent. The rooms are dated, though, and the bathroom was completely run-down.
