A handy place to stop while travelling to other parts of Sabah. The room was basic but comfortable, with a comfy bed, TV and air-conditioning. There's plenty of parking. There were some ants, and no kettle or tea service in the room. A restaurant is about a minute's drive away.

The service was awful. I booked late at night, around 10:30, and when I got to the check-in desk, the staff said my online booking hadn't appeared on their end. I was kept waiting for almost an hour. I suggested checking me in as a walk-in and refunding me if the online booking came through the next morning, but the receptionist kept waiting for booking confirmation. In the end, I cancelled.

It was a busy work trip, but I really loved this place and enjoyed my stay. Thanks for the hospitality and the lovely Lotus seeds. I'll treasure the memories and am already planning to come back.

The location is handy if you're catching an early morning ferry from menumbok to Labuan. The network there is unstable, and the workers are on standby, so you have to call them.

There’s potential here, and plenty could still be improved. I picked this place because my budget was tight, but the room had no water heater, so I had to shower in freezing water. It had air-conditioning, but no heater for drinking water. You can ask for hot water in the main building. There was no restaurant, even though signs suggest a restaurant or cafe could operate here.
