Elopura Vacation Apartment

The owner got back to us quickly whenever there was a problem, and the price for what you get is very good. Rooms were very clean, each with its own AC. Every apartment has a parking space, and the bigger ones also have their own washing machine. We had an amazing stay.

There isn't a kitchen, fridge, or anywhere to cook, so getting food means ordering with GrabFood or Foodpanda, or driving to the nearest restaurants at Imago Mall or Sutera Avenue, around seven minutes away. We also arrived to less than half a roll of tissue, and could have used more. The tenants, permanent or otherwise, were mostly Malays and natives; we could hear karaoke and singing from 3pm, hahaha. The place was clean and well maintained, though the floors were a little dusty, so we tidied them before sitting down. The bedroom is roomier than the living room and balcony, and we shifted some furniture around to make extra space for our shenanigans, haha. Apart from those points, we'd highly recommend it and would definitely come back.

The check-in and check-out instructions from the owner were easy to follow, and the guard/apartment caretaker was friendly and ready to help. I didn't have any security concerns. I slept really well every night. The beds are heavenly, and the linens rival those in expensive hotels. Traffic from the main highway can be a bit annoying during the day, but at night it's quiet. The apartment is simple, beautiful, almost spotless, and comfortable enough that I wanted to stay longer. I couldn't add a few more days, but I'll come back when I need to be in Jesselton City again. It's a lovely fit if you like minimalist homes with practical IKEA furniture and clean-cut living spaces. A few small things, just my personal opinion: the kitchen counter was a bit oily and could use a multipurpose cleaner, and some spots were dusty enough for only a clean freak like me to notice. The queen bed frame held up fine and looked nice, but I wondered if it might feel more secure built like the second room's frame, which used old pellets. Other than that, it's perfect.

A nice place to spend the night with friends 🎉. We couldn't get the TV to work, maybe because we didn't know how, haha, and there's no Netflix either.
