Tey Hotel

The service was terrible. If every other hotel is full, then I guess you could book this one.

The room was cramped, the toilet was dirty with cockroaches, and some switches didn't work. The light wouldn't turn off, so I had to sleep with it on. I only chose this hotel because it's close to my workplace and the other hotels I usually stay at were full. Checking in at midnight, I was told every room was taken, but later I found out plenty were still available. The night-shift uncle was unfriendly and spoke harshly. Luckily I was still in a decent mood then, otherwise I would've had a real problem with him. I think he's the owner. Really disappointing.

I only needed somewhere to sleep while working as a car rental runner, so I had nothing to complain about. Check-in at 2 pm was easy, and booking and paying through the Agoda app worked out cheaper than walking in. There are lots of restaurants and food stalls within walking distance, and an ATM near the Petronas.

I came back for a second stay, two days from 15-17 Apr 24, because it was close to Felda Cahaya Baru. The Malay lady on the day shift was helpful and courteous. The room, though, had lots of little cockroaches in Bilik 103, and the toilet smell came up at night. The night-shift Apek was rude and disrespectful. He shouted at us as we came through the glass door. He picked the wrong person, because I shouted back until he was shaken. If Apek had died, it could have become a case. Don't patronize this hotel. The night-shift Apek treats you more like an enemy than a customer and seems to want a fight. No wonder racial harmony in Malaysia is in disarray. A hotel business shouldn't employ an Apek with such a bad attitude for the night shift. It's time to boycott the place until they change the bloody Apek.
