Red House the Garden Stay in Bukit Tinggi by PLAY

We had a blast doing the Ice Bath Challenge with #WarriorPlunge at Red House. The morning views are beautiful, and there’s plenty of room for team activities. My room was spacious and had all the amenities. Even the pool is fun sized. It’s a real hidden gem, and I’m surprised more people don’t know about it.

There were 22 of us, and the property fit our group just fine. The grounds are huge, great for kids to roam around and explore, and the clean pool is only 1m deep, which works for kids aged 7 and up. The water was a little cold, though. We really loved the place, and it was very clean overall, but bring your essentials since the nearest shops are a 15 minute drive away. The forest setting is lovely, with cool, pleasant weather, and it’s a good spot for a family getaway. A few kitchen things could use attention: the pots and utensils could be upgraded, the wok was rusty, and the bbq pit needed cleaning. The dishwashing detergent also wasn’t strong enough to cut grease. For the price, it’d be nice if bbq basics like charcoal were provided.

The morning view was lovely, and I liked having nature right around the room. It was a relaxing, peaceful place, though being surrounded by nature means you may spot insects, including ants.

The scenery is spectacular, and the kids had a great time in the pool. The villa is roomy enough for a big family, and having access to a kitchen stocked with utensils made things very convenient. We loved staying here.
