The staff were so helpful, polite, and nice, and breakfast was freshly made and delicious, well worth the wait. The cafe looks great too, and the place feels calm in the morning. We booked a bunkies room for one night just for fun with my sister. Both beds had a bedside plug and reading lamp, and the room was pleasing to look at. It’s tucked behind plants by the roadside and easy to reach from the MRT. At night there was some noise, I guess from the mat rempit. Parking was nearby, depending on your luck. The room showed the kiblat direction for Muslims, but there was no bidet in the toilet, though the shower was close by. I’d left a note asking for an iron, but it was never available because another guest was using it, so I checked out with my outfit pretty wrinkled. Still, everything else was so good. I’d recommend it and definitely come again.

We stayed five nights in room 615, and I’d recommend rooms ending in 9-15, like 609-615, because they’re at the back and quieter. There’s a lot of late-night racing nearby, so front-facing rooms would be terrible if you’re sensitive to noise. Getting around was easy enough. Go around the corner to the elevated walkway for Medan Tuanku monorail station. For Grab, “Chow Kit Hotel Lobby” works better as a pickup or drop-off point because Momo’s entrance is hidden by plants along a busy highway, while Chow Kit has a proper drop-off area. There’s a nearby laundromat, Washing Studio, at RM 7 to wash and RM 5 to dry. Bring your own detergent. The room had cold split-type air conditioning, a soft bed, bright airy interiors with warm lighting options, a full-length mirror on the bathroom door, and a big TV with screen mirroring. The WiFi never failed in 615, and I had no data or signal issues there either. They provide water bottles you can refill downstairs. There’s a working hot shower and a hair dryer in the room, and you can call for an iron and board. Staff were topnotch, kind, and helpful. Breakfast was a delicious buffet, RM15 if you pay ahead or the night before, about 17.50~ on the day. Extra pillows were free. A few things fell short. There’s no bidet, which disappointed me since I figured most, if not all, Asian hotels had one. The elevator is slow. Crashpad rooms are a bit tight if you have lots of luggage, though that didn’t bother us much. The bathroom has no partition or curtain, so shower water gets everywhere, and at night it had a strange smell, probably from the drain. It wasn’t unbearable, just a bit annoying. Great value for budget travelers who can live with a few compromises. We had a nice stay. Shoutout to Sean at reception for being so kind and accommodating.

I’ve stayed here many times, and the rooms have always been comfortable and great for the affordable price. The staff have been so friendly that they might recognize me if we meet again. The location is handy too, close to the LRT and monorail, so it’s easy to get around. Try the nasi kandar across from the hotel, and the hotel restaurant too. The burgers at MoMo KL are delicious and unforgettable. I may not get another chance to stay here, but I hope all the staff are doing well. I love you all, and maybe we’ll meet again someday.

The room was clean and had what I needed, and the place is cute and an easy walk from Medan Tuanku Monorail. But in our city view room, motorcycles were racing and revving through the night, roughly from 2 or 3 until 4 or 5 a.m. I barely slept. There was even a sticker on the window saying you could ask reception for earplugs, so maybe this happens often. Better soundproofing seems needed. I really liked the place, but with that noise, I don't think I'll come back.

The English breakfast was enjoyable, I liked the latte, and the staff were pleasant. The room itself was so cramped and poorly ventilated that moisture lingered after a shower, leaving it damp enough to raise concern about mold. I also encountered cockroaches. Noise carries badly, and the earplugs the hotel provides barely help. The windows and insulation need attention. There were also loud private events that made resting difficult, and after cleaning I found candy wrappers left in the toilet. If your health, sleep, peace, and comfort matter to you, I wouldn't recommend staying here.
