I stayed here three years ago and still think the hotel is impressive. The front desk man arranged an early check-in and late check-out for us. It's centrally located near the famous SOGO and Globe Silk Store, and the entrance has a funky look. Our room was good, with excellent beds, a good TV, toothbrushes, and good hot water. It was easy to order Domino's, and we couldn't hear the traffic. The service staff were friendly, too. I don't understand the complaints people have.

The second room was okay, but the first one we were given had blood stains on the bedsheet. The furniture seems a bit old and cheap. It could be improved.

I called to confirm my booking and ask about the room, including whether I could change it and what two nights would cost. I asked politely and genuinely wanted to enjoy my stay, but the receptionist was rude and pushy, then hung up on me. With staff treating customers that way, I'm very disappointed and don't think it's worth staying here.

We're regular guests at Canary Hotel, Jalan TAR, Kuala Lumpur, whenever we come to shop in the area, but this stay was very disappointing. The counter staff were unfriendly. After we reported the problems, they ignored us and kept chatting and gossiping with colleagues instead of helping. The hotel offered no discount despite everything. In Room 604, the air conditioner was noisy and leaking, leaving the floor wet and uncomfortable, and the TV had no sound. If you're assigned Room 604, take note and avoid staying there.
