Cosmo Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Some of our belongings went missing during the stay, including my roommate’s bag. On one occasion, housekeeping left our room door open after cleaning, and it was still open when we came back. When we raised this with management, they were dismissive and unresponsive instead of investigating seriously or supporting us. It was upsetting and showed a lack of responsibility and professionalism. The rooms were clean, facilities good, and the stay was otherwise comfortable. I would have happily left a very good review based on that, but the security issue means I can’t fully recommend the hotel. Guest safety should be a priority. Please keep an eye on your belongings, because if something goes missing, the hotel may still blame you.

My room was comfortable and had the essentials, with a direct view of Merdeka 118 and angled views of Menara Kuala Lumpur and the Petronas Twin Towers. Some furniture was worn, including peeling on the desk, and the window wasn’t very clear. During my week there, one small bathroom towel wasn’t replaced, though I hardly used it. The breakfast buffet had limited food and drink choices. The location is convenient for public transport and attractions such as Merdeka Square and Sultan Abdul Samad Jamek Mosque. Menara Kuala Lumpur and Chinatown are also easy to reach by train. The hotel has a separate reception level, a main lobby, and a dining/café area, with quite a lot of rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the smiling security guards. Prices seemed reasonable for the location.

Ma’am Tin Tin helped me from check-in right through to check-out, and I’m grateful for her support. Housekeeping also cleaned the room on schedule. The residence is near several tourist spots, especially Masjid Jamek. Thanks to the management, especially Ma’am Sharon and Peng, and to Cosmo management and TDCX for giving us a comfortable place to stay. 😊

The location made it easy to get around, with the metro within walking distance and amenities nearby. Our package included a spacious luxury room, and we had a wonderful time. Breakfast was really good, and the staff were very polite and helpful. Highly recommended!
